Tulmar Safety Systems Inc. has been selected by Global Affairs Canada to participate in the official Team Canada delegation to the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, Poland, where Canada will serve as Lead Nation.

Canadian defence engineering and manufacturing company joins Team Canada at MSPO 2026 as it expands its presence in Europe

MSPO, taking place September 8–11, is one of Europe’s largest defence and security exhibitions and brings together military and government representatives and defence industry organizations from NATO and allied countries.

For Tulmar, MSPO is part of a broader strategy to expand its presence in European defence markets and strengthen relationships with military end users, defence primes and industry partners in Poland and other NATO countries.

Tulmar has developed an international track record in personal flotation, tactical equipment, survivability systems and specialized protective solutions. Current programs include a contract to supply more than 12,000 Galeo and Borneo personal flotation systems to the British Armed Forces. The company has also supplied more than 46,000 personal flotation devices to the Canadian Armed Forces since 2007.

Tulmar has maintained a 29-year relationship with General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada and was named Supplier of the Year for Innovation and Technology by GDLS–Canada in 2026. The company also partners with Saab Barracuda to design and manufacture military protection and survivability solutions.

At MSPO, Tulmar will present capabilities in tactical personal flotation, counter-UAS and non-kinetic protection, soldier and vehicle protection, and specialized engineering and manufacturing.

A five-member Tulmar delegation will attend the exhibition to meet with military representatives, government officials and defence industry partners from Poland and other NATO countries.
