The Heavy Logistics Vehicle Wheeled (HLVW) fleet provides the Canadian Army with a heavy lift transport capability. The HLVW fleet is used to transport combat supplies, cargo, troops, and spare parts. These trucks can hold between 10,000 kg to 16,000 kg of equipment depending on the variant, and are used by the regular force and reserve field units, as well as during overseas deployments.
