D-TA Systems signed a significant contract with QinetiQ for the development and delivery of a state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare (EW) system for Training and Test & Evaluation.
Under the terms of the contract, D-TA Systems will design, manufacture, and deliver a next generation electronic warfare emulation system to QinetiQ, who will use the new capability to provide high-end threat replication services. These services will enable air, maritime and land forces to train and test their platforms and people against representative radar threats.

“We are honored to have been chosen for this critical project and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of crucial threat replication capabilities in the UK. This contract is a testament to D-TA’s technological leadership in the EW threat signal emulation market. We are investing heavily for continued leadership and further market acceptance of our solution across Europe and elsewhere”, said Dr. Dipak Roy, Executive Chairman of D-TA Systems.
Rob Laidlar, EW Strategy Lead, QinetiQ, said, “We have recognized the increasing need for realistic capabilities which can emulate the radar signatures of potential opponent weapon systems. Therefore, QinetiQ has made a significant investment in a very capable EW radar emulator, which will enable us to provide threat replication services to the UK and our NATO partners. QinetiQ will also be ready to support the training of soldiers, sailors and aviators, and be equipped to test and evaluate ships, land systems and aircraft.”
