CCX Technologies announces the launch of its new SystemX Tactical Console: a rugged laptop–tablet hybrid designed to provide real-time operational insights in the field and on-the-move.
The Tactical Console operates at the network edge, providing a secure interface and portable view into Platform and Operational Technology (PT & OT) networks and overall system health. It gives operators a decisive advantage by enabling access to critical command and control (C2) information without transmitting data across external communications links. This capability allows troops to remain undetected during covert operations.
“As communication modernization programs progress across Canada in the coming years, the ability to provide deployable, real-time situational awareness will be an essential requirement,” says Chris Bartlett, President and Co-Founder of CCX Technologies. “As a Canadian-owned company, we are uniquely positioned to deliver both advanced capability and assured data sovereignty.”
The Tactical Console is powered by the SystemX Operating System (OS), a proprietary open-architecture software platform that delivers future-proofed secure networking capability to the front-lines. Leveraging this software, the Tactical Console provides advanced capabilities for network management, data transfer, configuration management, application management, and PT & OT cybersecurity. This includes a robust intrusion detection system for real-time monitoring of databus (including CANBus, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, and ASTERIX), system log, and network traffic for anomalous behavior, supporting both maintenance operations and cyber mission assurance.
Featuring a versatile design, the Tactical Console can be converted into a mountable or handheld tablet, as well as a laptop with a keyboard and docking station. The tactical console is compatible with any mounting system designed to support a CF-33 Panasonic Toughbook.
CCX will unveil this new product for the first time at the CANSEC 2026. Attendees are invited to visit Booth #2229 for a live demonstration and to engage directly with our team for further information.
