Arcfield – New Name of Peraton’s Divested Systems Engineering, Integration, and Support Services Business

Arcfield has announced the appointment of Kevin Kelly, a 30-year defense and intelligence leader, as chief executive officer and chairman, effective immediately. Arcfield is the result of the divestiture by Peraton of its systems engineering, integration and support services business, including complementary C5ISR programs and Peraton Canada (collectively, the “SES Business”). Arcfield is a portfolio company of The Veritas Capital Vantage Fund, L.P.

Composed of two sectors – space and intelligence, and defense and federal civilian – Arcfield develops mission-critical solutions addressing customers’ most complex challenges. The company builds on a six-decade legacy of serving the defense and intelligence communities, with a deep portfolio of systems engineering and integration, C5ISR and digital transformation solutions in support of multi-domain, national security missions.

For more than 35 years Peraton Canada—now Arcfield Canada—has been synonymous with leadership in the Canadian aerospace and defence market. The organization provides world-class mission sustainment, supply chain management, maintenance and repair services, and engineering solutions as the prime contractor to the Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 fighter fleet for all avionics, C4ISR, electronic warfare and support equipment.

Jacques Comtois, director of Canadian operations said, “The rebrand provides an opportunity for the expansion of our business operations. Our growth strategy aims at positioning the company strongly in the sustainment markets, and to tap into new fields of business. We look forward to broadening our established capabilities and being open to new opportunities.”

Arcfield’s CEO and chairman, Kevin Kelly, a 30-year defense and intelligence leader, said “We are excited to welcome the Canadian operations to Arcfield and will be focused on driving growth through innovation. We look forward to continuing this critical work in support of national security initiatives.”

Prior to Arcfield, Kelly served as president of CACI International’s national security and innovative solutions sector, where he reorganized its high-tech business with the creation of a $2.1B sector focused on inventing, developing, and delivering advanced solutions to industry leading C5ISR and counter-UAV national programs. Prior to that, Kelly was at LGS Innovations for more than 22 years in several roles including chief strategy officer, chief operations officer, and eventually chief executive officer. As CEO, he led the sale of LGS to a private equity partner in 2014 and eventually to CACI in 2019.

In Canada, Arcfield will continue its legacy in support of the Canadian defence community. Under the new name, the company has launched a new website for Canada at
