UVAD Announces Alpine Swift Entering Long Term Steady-State Production

UVAD Technologies Inc. (UVAD) is announcing that the development of the Alpine Swift is complete and will now enter into long-term steady state production for commercialization and sales of the all-electric, fixed-wing Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV).

“The Alpine Swift is one of the only UAVs of its class built in Canada, and we are seeing both strong domestic and international demand for the system, said David Birkett, President and CEO of UVAD.  “Demand for small all-electric UAVs with significant payload flexibility is growing exponentially, and Alpine Swift is very unique in this field”

The Alpine Swift UAV fulfills numerous applications in both the commercial and defence sectors, including threat representation, test & evaluation, and live-fire training applications. Alpine Swift is equipped with UVAD’s FlyLab™ and GraphLink™ technology architectures which facilitate payload flexibility, system interoperability, and onboard AI capabilities.  

FlyLab™ and GraphLink™ technologies also form the base architecture of UVAD’s Falcon Supersonic UAV, which is currently under development and expected to be in production in 2027.

“We are extremely pleased to enter into a long-term production agreement for the Alpine Swift, as this is an important milestone for UVAD,” Birkett added.
