The Canadian Space Agency will be hosting the 2nd edition of the Artemis Accords workshop

Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities Sameer Zuberi and Canadian Space Agency (CSA) President Lisa Campbell will launch the 2nd edition of the Artemis Accords Workshop at the John H. Chapman Space Centre (CSA Headquarters). NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy will participate virtually.

From May 21–23, 2024, representatives from 25 signatories will attend the workshop to pursue their commitment to ensuring safe and sustainable deep space exploration. Canada is one of the first countries to have signed the Artemis Accords in October 2020, and is continuing to work with international partners to further develop and refine the international framework for the next chapter of space exploration.

Media are invited to attend the opening event of the workshop at CSA headquarters. The event will be followed by a question period.
