The Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG) Drone Capability Coalition (DCC) is seeking companies to supply First-Person View (FPV) drones to Ukraine. This competition aims to produce FPV drones at scale and at an affordable price point, leveraging the strength of Western industry.

Led by the United Kingdom and Latvia, the call will procure up to 15 batches of racing quadcopter style drones, consisting of 20 drones each, capable of carrying varying payloads. These initial batches of drones will be tested and following testing, could be considered for a potential future production contract (up to circa 1000 drones per month). It is expected that several contractors will be selected through this process.

As Canada is part of the UDCG, Canadian innovators are eligible to apply. Details of how to apply can be found on the Gov.UK Contracts Finder and the Defence Sourcing Portal.

Innovators have until July 1, 2024 to submit their proposals.
