: In 2023, three Virtual Marine desktop FRB(RHIB) simulators with VR were in use and under evaluation across the Canadian naval enterprise in training as well as attraction and recruiting applications. The simulator provided realistic, hands-on experience to critical 2023 RCN outreach and recruiting efforts. In addition to having a significant positive impact in areas of attraction, recruiting and training, it has also been suggested that use could produce an equally positive effect in the key area of retention at Naval Reserve Divisions.

A pioneer in Lifeboat and Fast Rescue Boat (FRB/RHIB) simulator-based training for domestic and international Offshore Oil & Gas clients, VM now also targets defence needs and provides the Ice-Management Bridge Simulator at the Canadian Coast Guard College used for CCG and Royal Navy Polar Code training.
