The Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle (TAPV) is a wheeled combat vehicle that can fulfill a variety of roles on the battlefield, including reconnaissance, surveillance, security, command and control activities, and the armoured transport of personnel.

CSS Asterix – COMBAT SUPPORT SHIP

Asterix was converted at Federal Fleet Services’ sister-company, Chantier Davie Canada in Quebec. A pan-Canadian supplier network spanning six provinces was used to provide equipment and services for the program.

HMCS Chicoutimi was repatriated to Halifax on the submersible heavy lift ship Eide Transporter, arriving in Halifax on February 1, 2005.
