The Defence Industrial Forum has been established as a strategic engagement platform focused on practical discussions surrounding procurement modernization, industrial participation, sovereign capability development, allied cooperation, innovation acceleration, and Canada’s emerging defence industrial priorities.

As allied nations continue increasing investments in defence readiness, supply-chain resilience, advanced manufacturing, and strategic capability development, Canada is entering an important period of industrial and procurement transformation. The Forum is intended to support constructive dialogue between government and industry regarding how Canada can strengthen domestic industrial capacity, improve procurement agility, deepen partnerships with allies, and position Canadian companies within evolving global defence and security markets.

The Forum will feature keynote remarks from Christiane Fox, Deputy Minister of the Department of National Defence and the Forum will be moderated by Mercedes Stephenson, Ottawa Bureau Chief for Global News and host of The West Block.
