HMCS Protecteur (JSS1)
HMCS Protecteur is the fifth ship designed, built and launched by Seaspan under the National Shipbuilding Strategy for the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN).
NVSM – Night Vision System Modernization
This NVSM Night Vision System Modernization project will improve the soldier’s ability to operate in reduced visibility conditions with lower operator payload leveraging next generation technology.

OFSV – Offshore fisheries science vessels
The first offshore fisheries science vessel (OFSV), the CCGS Sir John Franklin, was delivered to the Canadian Coast Guard on June 27, 2019.

OOSV – Offshore Oceanographic Science Vessel
OOSV can perform Search and Rescue and contribute to our understanding of the impact of climate change on our oceans.
Joint Support Ship – JSS
The Royal Canadian Navy’s current Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) vessels will be replaced with the new Joint Support Ships (JSS).
CSC – Canadian Surface Combatant/RCD – River-Class Destroyers
The Canadian surface combatant (CSC) project, under the National Shipbuilding Strategy, will replace both the Iroquois-class destroyers and the Halifax-class multi-role patrol frigates with a single class of ship.
CSS Asterix – COMBAT SUPPORT SHIP
Asterix was converted at Federal Fleet Services’ sister-company, Chantier Davie Canada in Quebec. A pan-Canadian supplier network spanning six provinces was used to provide equipment and services for the program.

HMCS Chicoutimi (SSK 879)
HMCS Chicoutimi was repatriated to Halifax on the submersible heavy lift ship Eide Transporter, arriving in Halifax on February 1, 2005.

His Majesty’s Canadian Submarine Corner Brook (SSK 878). Began busy operational cycle: participated in NATO’s Noble Mariner and Noble Warrior; first time in 15 years a Canadian submarine had been in European waters.

Deployed for 133 days on Op Projection Euro-Atlantic, the first time a Canadian submarine was operational in the Mediterranean in more than four decades.

His Majesty’s Canadian Submarine Victoria (SSK 876). Completed an operation with the United States Navy in the Juan De Fuca Strait, located off of Vancouver Island, B.C.

The official lineage of HMCS Summerside extant commissioned ship. The badge represents in the language of heraldry the name of the community which Summerside proudly bears.

The official lineage of HMCS Brandon extant commissioned ship. The horse is from the Arms of the City of Brandon, Manitoba, for which the ship is named.
