NLT – Naval Large Tug

The naval large tug project is intended to replace the Royal Canadian Navy's 5 civilian-crewed Glen-class large tugs and the 2 Fire-class rescue boats.

The RCAF has launched the ‘next Tactical Aviation Capability Set’ (nTACS) project. The person in charge of nTACS is Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Morris, the RCAF’s Director of Air Requirements for Tactical Aviation.

NVSM – Night Vision System Modernization

This NVSM Night Vision System Modernization project will improve the soldier's ability to operate in reduced visibility conditions with lower operator payload leveraging next generation technology.

OWSS – Optimized Weapon System Support

Arcfield Canada is the prime contractor for the CF-18 Avionics Optimized Weapon System Support Contract awarded in October 2010 for which we provide a full complement of in-service support activities.

PAXM – Portable Anti-Materiel Missile (UOR) – Munitions

The PAXM project will procure a minimum of 20 firing posts, 160 missiles, load carriage equipment and 6 Combat Training Simulators as well as ancillary equipment, spare parts, and training.

RCN ISTAR – Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance

RCN ISTAR program is meant to acquire UAVs to be launched from the RCN’s Halifax-class ships.
RCN ISTAR, CAMCOPTER® S-100 Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS)

RMDS – Remote Mine Hunting & Disposal System

The RMDS contract includes a two year $40 million acquisition program and a five-year up to $10 million Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program that includes options for additional equipment, spare parts, training, and technical support.

RPAS – Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems

The RPAS will provide the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) with a large (the size of a fighter aircraft) and sophisticated remotely piloted aircraft.

STTC – Strategic Tanker Transport Capability

Known as the CC-330 Husky, this new fleet will be comprised of nine aircraft and will conduct multiple tasks such as in-flight refuelling of other aircraft, military personnel and cargo airlift, medical evacuations, and strategic transport of Government of Canada officials.

UWSU – Underwater Warfare Suite Upgrade

The UWSU project will improve the performance of the underwater sensors through the upgrade and/or replacement of the components of the underwater warfare sensor suite.

WESM – Weapon Effects Simulation Modernization – Training

The Project will upgrade or replace the current hardware and software used by the Weapons Effects Simulation (WES) systems at Canadian Army bases.
