Current DND Projects:

• OWSM Prime for the CP-140 Aurora PAV. Includes the Aurora Incremental Modification Program as well as the ongoing in-service support • OWSM Prime for the CC-130 Hercules PAV and AVS • Heavy Maintenance Operations for the CC-130J Super Hercules • Full In-Service Support and Fleet Management of Canada’s Search and Rescue CH-149 Cormorant helicopter fleet. Providing first-, second- and third-line maintenance of all aircraft as well as all engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain management and materiel/logistics (including harvesting and R&O of donor components for the Cormorant Mid Life Upgrade program • CH-149 Cormorant Mid-Life Upgrade program. Assembling 13 of the 16 upgraded aircraft and delivering all CMLU aircraft from IMP facilities in Halifax. Also includes the stand up of the Trenton Main Operating Base • CT-114 Tutor (Snowbirds) 2nd line maintenance support to the fleet in Trenton, ON including the Tutor Avionics Update program • Warehousing and materiel support to the RCAF’s C-130J fleet through Lockheed Martin Aeronautics at 8 Wing Trenton • Electronics and avionics manufacture and support for various RCAF, Army and RCN programs such as Armoured Combat Support Vehicle and Griffon Limited Life Extension.

Level of investment in R&D:

IMP invests heavily in R&D, serving military, government, and commercial clients. They recently launched ‘IMP Academy,’ a free apprenticeship program to train future Canadian aircraft technicians and address workforce shortages.
