Seaspan Shipyards (Seaspan) achieved Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CPCSC) Level 1 Certification. Seaspan achieved this certification with the support of 123 Cyber, a Canadian, veteran-owned governance, risk and compliance firm for Canada’s defence industrial base. This designation reflects Seaspan’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational safety and security.
The CPCSC is a Government of Canada initiative designed to strengthen cybersecurity across the Canadian defence industrial base and protect sensitive information used in defence contracting. CPCSC Level 1 certification has become a required designation for suppliers bidding on Canadian defence contracts. Seaspan is proud to have proactively taken this important step to ensure national security is top of mind in all our work.
Seaspan’s CPCSC Level 1 certification confirms the company’s successful implementation of 13 security requirements and controls as dictated by the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security.
